 Of the many fruits grown in Minami Alps, there is one that is truly world-class – the plum.
 Minami Alps is Japan’s foremost plum-producing region, and in recent years has bred bigger and sweeter varieties than ever before.
 The Kiyo plum has been as the heaviest plum in the world – larger than a clenched fist and sweeter than a peach.
